Job Summary

Trinity Trailer is seeking a skilled Welder to join our Fabrication team. This position fulfils an essential role in the trailer building process by building components of the trailer with precision and care. Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform MIG welds, such as vertical and horizontal fillet welds, with a high degree of quality and according to company standards
  • Weld and install components of the trailer according to blueprints
  • Inspect individual components of the weld, to ensure all components meet quality standards
  • Read and properly interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of company employees
  • Adhere to and ensure company policies, attendance policies, and safety regulations are followed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Perform vertical and horizontal fillet MIG welds, with a high degree of quality
  • Problem solve and draw valid conclusions when issues arise
  • Multitask, manage time, and work in a fast pace environment
  • Read tape measures and perform simple math such as adding and subtracting fractions, decimals, and whole numbers
  • Follow written and verbal instructions from management
  • Convey information effectively

Education & Experience:

  • 1-2 years reading blueprints and MIG welding
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience operating a crane is a plus
  • Experience operating tools such as grinders, levels, buffers, impact guns, and D.A. sanders, is a plus
  • Aluminium welding experience NOT required but a bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday

  • Boise, ID 83716: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
