Job Description:
This position is based on a client site in Grande Prairie, AB. This position is expected to start in March and it could run until mid-May. There is LOA available for this position.
What would you be doing?
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide on wiring layouts.
- Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types o electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
- Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
- Position, support , and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, panels, fuse enclosures, fire alarms, lighting controls, and auto backup generators.
- Install, replace, support, and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
- Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
Does this sound like you?
- Have a Journeyperson Electrician card or Apprentice Electrician ticket.
- Valid and up to up-to-date tickets: H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, and WHMIS.
- Have high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets, and employees.
- Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
