Obadare is a leading manufacturing and service based company, providing design, engineering, welding, machining, mechanical fitting and inspection services to the coal seam gas, mining and industrial sector. The business has secured a number of key contracts for 2022, and as such we are looking for experienced and professional pipe fitters and welders to bolster our crew numbers.
Within our piping crew, we are undertaking work on a variety of piping scopes including standard A106B Carbon Steel, A333 low temp carbon steel, stainless steel and a variety of pipe shoes, guides, supports and stops. With both small and large diameter piping scopes our pipe fitters/welders need to be experienced with all welding processes including GTAW, FCAW, and GMAW. A number of our projects are 100% radiographed so your attention to detail and ability to follow procedures closely are vital skills we require.
What we offer is a primarily Monday to Friday role, averaging 45-50 hours per week with overtime penalty rates, and some weekend work on offer subject to project requirements. This is a workshop based role with minimal site work – so please don’t apply if you are looking for FIFO based roles. We are looking for staff with 3 + years of experience for this role.
