Your New Role

As a Housekeeper / Cleaner, you will be responsible for carrying out safe and efficient housekeeping and cleaning services that focus on the needs and wellbeing of our residents. This role will be based at our The Governor’s Retirement Resort in Port Macquarie. You will be responsible the cleaning of our Serviced Apartment Units including laundry, cleaning of the Common Areas across the Village such as Foyers, Interiors of Buildings, Dining and Games Rooms and Toilets.

 

 

This role is available on an ongoing Part Time basis, working 15-20 hours per week with shift times ranging from 9am – 1pm

About You

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual who is passionate about providing the best customer service. Above all, you will align to our Values of Bold, Warm and Honest. You will be able to demonstrate empathy and the ability to provide excellent care for your customers. Having come from a similar role within, Aged Care or Hospitality, you will demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience:

 

 

  • Availability to work a seven-day roster from 9am to 1pm (minimum availability of 3 days per week)
  • Currently live within a 45 min drive of Port Macquarie
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience, in hotel/serviced apartments or health services – preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of infection control standards and maintain compliance in this area
  • A driver’s licence and a access to a reliable car
  • Fully vaccinated for COVID 19
