Plant/Site: JBS Beef City Plant – Toowoomba
About the Role:
JBS Australia Toowoomba, Beef City Site is currently recruiting for all production floor positions throughout the Beef City Processing Plant.
Beef City is located 35 km west of Toowoomba in the region of Darling Downs, QLD.
Positions are full time, Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday where available. There are two shift options for Boning Room, Kill Floor and Cold Stores areas.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Willingness to participate in a well-developed team environment from general labouring to highly skilled key positions.
Comply with, and contribute to, our highly developed WHS, Quality Assurance and Training programmes.
Ensure you have a reliable vehicle to travel safely to and from work.
Participate in a well-organized, friendly team environment (become a team player)
Good attendance and hard work rewarded with a full-time position and the opportunity to progress through the many career pathways open to you.
About you:
Work well in a team environment.
Have reliable transport (no public transport is available).
Ability to take part in physical work.
Ability to work full time hours and must have full working rights to work on full time basis in Australia.
Q-Fever testing and vaccination (if required) programs are mandatory at JBS Australia. Our HR department can assist with organizing your Q-Fever vaccination without any costs.
Being reliable, having a good attitude, good communication skills and a willing to work will assist in securing a permanent position.

Shift Options:
Day Shift approximately 5am to 2:30pm.
Afternoon Shift approximately 2pm to 11pm
Entry level positions start from $977.93 / week, if you upgrade your skills with the business it can move up to $1,456.56 / week. This sits under the Beef City Enterprise Agreement 2021. Opportunities to improve career and skills will be discussed on interview day.
