Job Description
- Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized and glassware by hand when necessary
- Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
- Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
- Assist chefs and waitstaff as required, especially during peak hours
- Escalate major issues when necessary (e.g. safety risks, equipment failure)
- Other duties as requested
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions, has good communication skills,
- Effective time management and works well with multiple kitchen staff
- Willingness to work in a humid, fast paced environment
- Previous dishwashing/kitchen skills
- Planning and multi-tasking
