About the role
As a Cleaner you will provide a safe, clean, quality home that promotes person centred care for our residents, staff and visitors. You will be part of a team that maintains the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the home. During your day you will get to engage in meaningful conversations and tasks for our residents, giving you a sense of purpose in the work that you do.
A day in the life of a Cleaner may see you:
- Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift
- Interacting with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive manner
- Ensure the home is cleaned to a high standard
What we look for:
- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, health care or Aged Care environment; or the willingness and motivation to learn
- Solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals
- Previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment
- Clear communication skills both written and verbally
- A passion for interacting with our residents
